What to include in a bug report
If you're reporting a problem with one of the tools, it helps us a lot if you can include:
- Which tool you were using (e.g. "Capitalization Tool")
- What input you entered or pasted
- What result you got
- What result you expected instead
- Your browser and device (e.g. "Chrome on Android" or "Safari on iPhone")
The more detail you provide, the faster we can track down and fix the issue.
Tool suggestions
We're always looking for more useful text tools to add to Shiftext. If there's a transformation you reach for regularly and can't find a good free tool for, let us know. Good suggestions are ones where the job is clearly defined, the result is predictable, and the tool would be genuinely useful to a broad range of people (not just one very specific use case).
